JURYEONGGU™ KOREAN DRINKING DICE

Price:$24.99

Ju-ryeong-gu was first invented in the 700s by some creative Koreans who wanted a pocketable game to fuel their liquored-up shenanigans. It centers around a 14-sided dice block with game rules written on each face. While the originally discovered Ju-ryeong-gu are on display at the Gyeongju National Museum, we designed a modern and updated version that anyone can pick up and play with--no need to read Hangul or speak Korean.

We recommend these dice for anyone who loves Korean history, soju, or both.

This whole idea was concocted by AKA-LA, a Los Angeles based organization for Korean adoptees. 20% of Juryeonggu profits will be donated to AKA-LA to be used for advocacy and education. To learn more about the group, go here.

Taking Turns: Each person gets one turn rolling the dice. Once the dice is rolled, that player must follow the command given on the top dice face. This could be either taking a shot, making someone else drink, or a number of other commands. Once the dice command is followed, the dice is passed to the next player.

Game End: The game ends whenever the group decides to stop drinking, or maybe wants to grab pizza, or ramyun, or whatever other food options are available.

Winning: You're all winners in my eyes.
